the Humans

Image
Beware of the humans For they admire your unfurling blossoms  then steal them to adorn their collar with your bloom I say be aware of humans The human watches while your boulders cascade from high Leaving origin peaks, scrambling down to the valley below Beware of humans for they capture your strength   Sack glimmering gems to place manufactured crowns upon their heads  plundering the Sierra Madre that birthed the element conglomerate humans coyly pass by And with a side glance, count the number of fruits upon your branches  The human plucks the juice yellow-orange flesh, unexpectedly  Carelessly looking back while swaying tree weeps for its fruit Oh, I say beware of human Cover thyself with pointy thorns, long thorns Thorns that draw blood  for humans seek  Be aware of humans  Protect green flesh, the bulging tender softness  Cover thyself in weapons, spikes, goo, itchy threads For humans come, in the heat of the day,  Tromping sun bleache

Travelers in Life

Image
students of life on a well worn dusty road through the expanse of dry clay baking, the sun descends incompassionate on the heads of the travelers they search for freshwater they search for round rocks, pebbles they search for a stronger cup from which to sip the wealth riches and abundance talked about from adventurers whose souls have treaded that clay road learners in life sitting anxiously under a piece of shade sprinkled by the Mesquite stringy with thin branches and sparse leaves the traveler sits on a rock small child holding tightly others hug the shade as a loved umbrella they gaze across the blazing desert sky blue, pale with high fluffy clouds the heat intense, every creature hides the sun shimmers flecks of light bounce off sand undulating on desert ground seekers of life twinkles of stars, the milk way spilled with a splash deep darkness surrounds laid on the warm sand fresh breeze currents above flickering the small leaves on the Mesquite

Decay

Image
a tingle circulating through muscles the breath of rot lingers in the air she opens her cavernous tissues releasing a gale of putridness, the ages of envy and ego residing deep in the fleshy folds a dull light, blandly come across the eyes her narrow and pale lips stretch around the yellowed tinged teeth as peace settles on the dawning day she prolongs her inhalation and exhales revealing all that decomposes in the depths of her plotting she caresses her snaking yellow hair as the odor of decay exits through her nostrils a struggle to breath from a different angle attempting to evade the circulating stench of an Earth bound cadaver

There You Stand

Image
Fresh is the crisp breath of dawn's yawn, the fragrance of the clean mint awakens the mind as the tender mint shakes off the crusted ice of winter past As the light is blocked from sight stars bless the sky with twinkle twinkle to keep the soul comforted till morn' A new day slides across the sky, dusting a light firmly on the horizon there you stand

sinister is the course of life one travels blinded by lust your lover is waiting in the rain make fire bright and strong fan the flame to make a signal smoke will beckon your  love sit by the fire, count the stars make a wish, for the moon to sprinkle dust upon your lover's head make a fire bright and strong sit beside the flame and see it burn burn until your eyes are blind sit by the fire, find wood the rain approached, drops descend smoke unfurls, light flickers the night is vast, the cold is here make fire bright and strong
